This week is an amazing week because it is National Park week! In case you missed it, from now through April 24th, access to every National Park throughout the nation is FREE.
I LOVE the National Park System. Some of my fondest memories growing up in Colorado include family road trips and visits to some of the most majestic parks in the West including the Grand Canyon, the Four Corners, Yellowstone, Rocky Mountain National Park, Black Canyon, Mesa Verde, the Oregon Trail, and so many more!
According to the National Park Foundation, National Park week is America’s largest celebration of national heritage. It’s about making great connections, exploring amazing places, discovering open spaces, enjoying affordable vacations and enhancing America’s best idea—the national parks!
Best of all, it’s all happening in a park close by.
If you are unsure whether there is a national park close by your home, you can use the Find your Park tool to locate all of the National and State parks in your backyard and across the United States.
