What a week! I just wrapped up a 7-day trip that took me to 3 cities and 2 countries. Oh and did I mention that this is a combo business and pleasure trip?
Lucky for me I’ve been following the practical advice of Alex at Travel Fashion Girl for several years. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her blog. If you haven’t discovered the practical and stylish wisdom of TFG, do yourself a favor and go visit her site right now. Here’s the link to help you out!
My favorite part of TFG is the packing lists. She has packing lists for everything and I mean everything. Going to a week-long trip to Paris? She’s got your back. How about backpacking in Latin America? Been there, done that. How about a RTW with a carryon? No problem. Alex and her squad have you covered!
Inspired by the TFG packing lists and my new 22 inch Osprey carryon, I was determined to pack light. And you know what? I did it! Here’s what was in my Osprey for 7 days, mix business and pleasure, from the boardroom to the beach!
- 2 wrap dresses
- 1 pair suede camel colored pumps
- Sports bra
- Sleeveless shirt
- Tank Top
- Running shorts
- Running shoes
- 1 pair of socks
- Tank Top
- Linen pants
- Flip flops
- Rash guard
- Board shorts
- Short wetsuit
- Foldable market bag
And of course the basics – undies, pj’s, toiletry bag, makeup, straightening iron, hairbrush, and my laptop which is tucked neatly away in the ingenious backside pocket.
In my hobo bag – wallet, cell phone, camera, phone chargers, notebook and pen, book, sunglasses, keys
